All Podcasts MUST adhere to iTunes standards in order to work in our app!

  • See THIS for iTunes Standards.

Audio Podcast - MUST USE audeo files of .mp3 or .mp4 format.

  • If you're using the .mp3 or .mp4 file, setup the podcast as "iTunes Audio"

Video Podcast - MUST USE video files of .mp4 or .mpv format.

  • If you're using the .mp4 or .mpv file, setup the podcast as "iTunes Video"

Use the "Video" module for all Vimeo or YouTube videos.

*Note: In order for a podcast to play in your app, your app must include our media player feature. Therefore, a podcast must be present in your app when it is submitted. If your app is submitted without a podcast, it won't include the media player because Apple rejects apps that have the media player but nothing to play on it. Therefore, if you are adding a podcast to your app after it is already live, your app will need to be resubmitted (for a $99 fee) before the podcast can play within the app. If you don't have a podcast to put in your app at the time it is being submitted, but you plan on having one in the future, we recommend putting in a substitute podcast just for the approval process just so that the media player can already be included in your app. The substitute podcast can be removed after your app is approved. But then when you do have a podcast you want to add to your app, the media player feature will already be present, so you won't need to resubmit your app later. We can help you find a substitute podcast to put in your app just for the approval process if you need it.
