You have a handful of options when deciding how best to have events in your app.
Option 1 - Google Calendar ("Events" module in the CMS) - Create a google calendar for each of your ministries/groups and let the app automatically pull those into the app whenever you update your calendar. See tutorial here: How to embed Google Calendar tutorial.
Option 2 - Event Graphics ("Sliders" module in the CMS) - This is an option where you can create a separate Graphic for each event and users can swipe right to left to get more graphics/events.
Option 3 - Manually input your events ("Views" Module in the CMS) - This is really the only option you want to use if you have events with a "LOT" of info that doesn't change frequently. We have tons of ministries that don't change events frequently and this is a great option for them. Using Views to Display Events tutorial.
Option 4 - Basic RSS Feed - ("Events" Module in the CMS) - Create an RSS feed for your events and let that auto populate the app. This option isn't as aesthetically pleasing as the Google Calendar or graphics calendar but it's automatic when you update your feed.
